Wweeeey I am a true blue Singapore citizen..I was born in a private clinic here in Singapore..Why private clinic and not government hospital? I don't know..All I know is that my rich maternal grandfather paid for all expenses there. He's dead now so I cannot ask him WHY!

I was brought up here all my life in Singapore..I was NEVER sent away to study in western countries..my parents were 7th generation (I am the 8th generation) in wealth possession so, they do not have much money left to send me abroad!

My daddy is a Singapore-born..My grandfather was a Singapore-born criminal investigation officer..My mom even converted to a Singapore PINK citizen..I was drilled so hard until I could speak English fluently by my parents because they believed English is the MOST IMPORTANT language in Singapore which nowadays I found out it is NOT even the formality anymore..

I might not have the chance to stay in any Singapore kampung/village/rural area as all along I have stayed in a house in the city. But that's not my mistake - I just followed where my parents lived..Is that so wrong?😮💨😮💨😮💨

Career-wise, I am known as a workaholic staff who worked overtime (OT) most days..ever worked more than 44 hours weekly without OT pay!..I am also known as a quick learner as I tend to drill myself to revise and memorize what I have learnt at the office once I reached home so that the next day my mind was well-prepared to give the best performance..

I am not bothered by others' negative perception of the Malay community because I am more interested in learning how to be the efficient and competent Malay staff at the workplace..So, why is it so difficult to land myself on a simple Monday-Friday office work nowadays..WHY so laiddat ley?

I just need money to support my household as well as my parents' household. I am more than thankful, grateful and appreciative if I cannot land myself at any job, the government willing to step in and "feed" both households. If not, don't make my jobhunting extremely DIFFICULT and SUFFOCATING! I am NOT rich as I am the 8th generation - no highly valuable inheritence!

The jobscope is more to the office administration..handling office equipment and stationery's requisitions..update checklist of completed work..that's all! Then a non-renewable contract position with no great benefit like permanent staff are having..so, is checking my background mandatorily necessary? I just plainly don't know what's going on in the SG Workforce anymore! 🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽
