WEDNESDAY SURVEYING AND SURVIVING

Did a 25-mins survey..about healthcare scheme, retirement scheme, housing scheme, security scheme etc. I really emphasized on housing scheme for singles.

Surveyor:
You mean number of flats not enough?

Me:
Not that. I just want to highlight that if HDB invites 10 applicants to select flats, MAKE SURE there are 10 flats or more to select..NOT invited 10 applicants but only 5 flats available..like my case - invited me on Friday evening to select flat on next Monday BUT on Sunday evening, HDB informed me that all flats fully booked & asked me to re-join the queue for next launch. More than once I got such "false hope" invitation to select a flat..One miserable choice to have my own flat. That's not a good practise as single people like me hope to have our own flat too..My request only for 2-room flat, NOT 2-storey bungalow.

Surveyor:
2-room flat is quite small.

Me:
It is more than enough for me to stay alone on my own. I dislike living with another stranger or related one as I prefer to be independent!

At the end of survey was more to details of my background. When comes to "RELIGION", I replied,"Both my parents' religion is Islam but I am a free-thinker..I do not practise any religion anymore.."..Surveyor knodded.

Yes! Whenever with my parents especially my mom, people always jump to conclusion that my parents and I share the same religion when actually, nope..That's why I need my own flat bcoz I need to lead my actual lifestyle.


For completing the survey I got this NTUC voucher..a bit of financial assistance..can use when buying my mom's adult diapers next time.

OUT OF ISLAM

. Islamic fasting month started on 24 April 2020 making it the first day of Ramadhan month of fasting to all Muslims. On 7th day of Ramadhan month of fasting, I decided to proceed with my decision to convert out of Islam. That's all I want and need at the moment, after putting it on hold for too long now. . WHY DO I WANT WAY OUT OF ISLAM? . Firstly since young, I was asking why I have to go to people's home just to learn how to recite the Holy Qur'an. My parents are Muslims but my mother was a bit lenient though as I was not forced to do my prayer from young age like one of my neighbour's grand-daughters who started doing prayer at age of three. . As I grow up, I learnt more and more about Islam. Frankly speaking, some parts of Islamic rules and regulations or COMMANDMENTS I cannot bring myself to agree upon as at an angle, those commandments are leaning towards women being the weakest subject and meant to be dominated by men due to it. COINCIDENCE? POSSIBILITY?

. I opened this product on Tuesday, 12 January 2021 evening..upon reaching home from work.. . I took a bit..put it on the back of my palm & started scrubbing..my lil nephew said it smell nice..yeah indeed it does..I was demonstrating to my mom how to use it..then I wipe the area with tissue until no residue..thereafter I went to the kitchen & washed my hands.. . Returned to the living..then I smell something so fragrant..I told my mom & she said most probably due to this product..I smell my hand but no smell..🤔🤔🤔.. . I told my mom that I smell something like screwpine leave..hirisan daun pandan..cam yg letak atas keranda..my mom stared at me..I said,"Someone is going to die one of these days.."..my mom asked who could it be..as she kept dreaming of her cousin..she feared of her cousin's well-being..but the smell is sooooo fragrant..very calming indeed.. . Then we got to know a well-known religious person passed away on 14 January 2021.....
